AUGUST

Fireman's Carnival - Located at the North Point-Edgemere Fire Department, this three-day event features
rides, games, food and fun for all families.  It starts with fantastic display of summer fireworks next door at
the Sparrows Point High School athletic fields and ends with a parade!

SEPTEMBER

Defender's Day - Battle of North Point Re-enactment at Fort Howard Park - Sponsored by the Dundalk
Patapsco Neck Historical Society, this event interprets and commemorates military actions that happened at
North Point on September 12, 1814.   Come to this event, and learn more about those British and American
forces. Then imagine what it was like on September 12th, as you hear the roar of cannons and the rattle of
musketry again echoing across Patapsco Neck.

Friday Night Lights - Come out and cheer for our own Sparrows Point High School Pointer football team
during the football season at 1st Mariner Stadium.  If their are three things Edgemere-Sparrows Point citizens
love, its football, football and more football!   A fun-filled evening of food, football and even our own Pointer
marching band should be experienced by all!

**Also join us for our Annual ESP/Falcon Football Night at 1st Mariner Stadium.  ESP participants who wear
their ESP jersey/uniforms get in for FREE and receive a FREE bag of popcorn.  Adults get in for a discounted

OCTOBER

Harvest Fest - Hosted by the Chesapeake Terrace Elementary School PTA, Harvest Fest is a fantastic event to put
you and your family in the fall-festive spirit.  You and your little ghouls can paint pumpkins, play a wide-variety of
games, eat great food like pit-beef sandwhiches, seasonal treats, purchase seasonal items, and even participate
in a silent auction.  All proceeds go to the Chesapeake Terrace PTA.  

'ROCK AT THE DOCK' Rockfish Fishing Tournament - It's the Annual Rockfish fishing tournament hosted the by the
Sparrows Point High School football program.  Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishes, door prizes, fish fry
and other exciting giveaways.  All proceeds go to the Sparrows Point High School football program.

The Haunted Dungeons - An Edgemere-Sparrows Point tradition for over 25 years, the Haunted Dungeons
continues to be Baltimore's premier Haunted Hot Spot.  Take a 1 hour tour through haunted woods before entering
the historic Haunted Dungeons, stemming from the Battle of North Point in the War of 1812.   Dress warm and
bring your appetite for Halloween!

DECEMBER

Santa Claus Comes to Town - Courtesy of the North Point-Edgemere Fire Department, Santa Claus rides his fire
engine through the North Point Peninsula to wish each and every family a very Merry Christmas.  Candy Canes are
a common present to those children who return the Merry Christmas wishes.  (

APRIL

Spring Sports Parade - Join the Edgemere-Sparrows Point Rec Council and the Volunteer Fire Department as we celebrate the new spring
sports seasons with an
Opening Day Parade through Edgemere.   Our kids are treated to food and games afterwards.   The parade route takes
you from the Edgemere Senior Center to Edgemere Elementary School.  Come out and cheer on our athletes!

JUNE

Edgestock Music Fest - What a better way to kick back on a warm summer afternoon then to do it with a cold drink
in hand and some good hometown live local music.  Join us for the annual
Edgestock Music Fest every summer
at Fort Howard Park.
